PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the diameter of a resolver while simplifying the structure by arranging the protrusions of a ring-like plastic cover to penetrate the slots of a ring-like stator. SOLUTION: The inventive resolver has a plurality of protrusions (10) formed to project from the second inner surface (8a) of the second ring-like plastic cover (8) out of ring-like plastic covers (7, 8) wherein each protrusion (10) is arranged to be connected with the first inner surface (7a) of the first ring-like plastic cover (7) while penetrating a slot (2A).
