PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder suitable to hold a foldable portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A first holding member 2a and a second holding member 2b supported pivotally by a main body 1 in a turnable way are appropriately turned with a pivotal support part 1b as a center, an opening part 2d is formed on a side face of the second holding member 2b, and a gap part 2e is formed between the second holding member 2b and the front of the main body 1. This holder can appopriately select a user-friendly holding method in accordance with its use state with respect to states in which the foldable portable telephone set is closed and opened to improve the holding convenience of the foldable portable telephone set.
