PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of fold-off of a colored component, a problem of color fading, or the like, while making identification of each plug connection part easy by enlarging a coloring region of the plug connection part. SOLUTION: An electric connector comprises a housing 2 of an insulating nature equipped with a terminal 1, a plug connection part 5 which has a cylindrical protruded part 3 which protrudes from the housing 2, and a plug insertion opening 4 formed in the cylindrical protruded part 3, and a colored cap 10 that is equipped to the cylindrical protruded part 3 and covers the periphery portion of the cylindrical protruded part 3. Further, the electric connector has a lock means that is prepared between the cylindrical protruded part and the colored cap and has a protrusion 11 and a recess part 31 holding a mounting state of the colored cap to the cylindrical protruded part.
