PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a speech information exchanging device which can remove motor noise without having any extra noise cancel signal circuit such as a noise signal generator, a phase characteristic correcting circuit, a level correcting circuit, or the like and can retry motor noise removal after recording. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus which can record audio simultaneously with images has a means of obtaining control information on an imaging system motor during audio recording and a means of recording the obtained control information on a motor on a recording medium. Further, the device has a means of reading the control information on the motor and audio information recorded on the recording medium, a means of calculating noise information caused by the motor from the read control information on the motor, a noise removing means of subtracting the calculated noise information from the audio information, and a rerecording means of recording audio information after removal of a noise.
