<p>Described is an apparatus (1) suitable for use under water as marking, such as for instance a jamming transmitter, which device comprises an electronic device mounted in a protective block, together referred to as core block (3), and enclosed by a housing consisting of a plurality of parts (2a, 2b) which are fixed to each other using fastening means (4) The apparatus preferably also comprises one or more float elements (6). In particular the electronic device is programmed such that the echo- location system of a marine animal is influenced by providing an excess of signals. The invention further provides a method for efficient production of such an apparatus, wherein the two parts of the housing as well as the float elements and the protective block are produced in standardized manner.</p> |
