<p>A flat stepping motor assembled in electronic equipment such as small and low-profile printers, facsimiles, and floppy disk drives, comprising a stator assembly formed of a pair of stator units (A, B) and a rotor (50) rotatably disposed at the center thereof, each stator unit (A or B) of the same shape and structure further comprising a plurality of upward and downward pole teeth, wherein two upper and lower stator yokes (30, 31 or 32, 33) are combined with each other so that the pole teeth are engaged with each other at phases displaced 180 electrical degrees with respect to each other, an exciting coil (40 or 42) is disposed on the opposite side of the pole teeth, and the stator assembly is formed by connecting the tips of the pair of stator units to each other through a spacer of non-magnetic material so that the intervals between the pole teeth adjacent to each other are displaced 90 or 270 electrical degrees with respect to each other.</p> |
