The nozzle (11) is associated with a baffle plate (14) for spreading the water jet. For a separate supply of an adjustable amount of water into the region of the spray pattern beneath the nozzle the baffle plate has one or more evenly spread out openings (21) which open into an open ring groove (31) which is formed in the outside of the baffle plate. The openings can be circular bores or triangular or rectangular apertures.
