The assembly to stretch woven fabrics has a machine frame (1) with two powered rotating stretch rollers (10,20), spaced apart, with the fabric (30) between them. The fabric is stretched between the two rollers by the fabric entry roller (10) which rotates at a slower speed than the other roller (20) where the fabric emerges. The assembly to stretch woven fabrics has a system to hold the fabric against the stretch rollers without slipping, as it passes through the frame. A deflection roller (15,25) gives the required path angle for the fabric around the stretch rollers. The deflection rollers have a position adjustment, to set the path angle of the fabric around the stretch rollers, by a height setting at the frame. The deflection rollers are pressed against the stretch rollers, in the frame, and they have a smaller diameter than the stretch rollers. The fabric stretch assembly is operated continuously, to stretch dry woven fabrics.
