A sealing device, comprising a seal material (7a) with a base end part connected to a core metal (5) having three seal lips (14, 15a, 16a), wherein where the thickness of the tip part of a middle seal lip (15a) located at a middle position is designated as d1, the thickness of the base end part thereof is designated as d2, the thickness of the tip part of an inside seal lip (16a) located on the innermost side is designated as D1, and the thickness of the base end part thereof is designated as D2, the thicknesses of at least parts of the base end parts of the middle seal lip (15a) and the inside seal lip (16a) are set to meet the requirements of 0.2d1 <= d2 <= 0.8 d1 and 0.5D1 <= D2 <= D1, and the tip edge of the inside seal lip (16a) is externally fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of an inner diameter side cylindrical part (12) forming a slinger (6) with an interference of approx. zero, whereby even when the slinger (6) and the core metal (5) are displaced relative to each other, an excellent sealability can be assured and an increase in torque can be suppressed.
