Evaluation method for electrocardiogram data for predicting the overall state of an organism. Accordingly the recorded data of an electrocardiogram (ECG) are subjected to a correlation analysis. The analysis is used to generate a quasi-periodical curve pattern from the ECG and a single value numerical value that represents the rhythmic portion of the curve pattern. Independent claims are made for two further evaluation methods.
