PURPOSE: A structure of a service valve of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to prevent leakage of working fluid. CONSTITUTION: A structure includes a valve body(50') having a valve chamber(51), a space in which working fluid flows; a first connecting part(52) formed on the valve body to connect the valve chamber with components installed in an outdoor unit; an opening and closing part(55) connected with the valve chamber, and formed on a location facing the first connecting part; a second connecting part(60) connected with the valve chamber, and coupled with a connecting tube(66) connecting an indoor unit and the outdoor unit to allow working fluid to circulate between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit; and a valve rod(80) installed in the opening and closing part, and having a valve rod ring(94) mounted thereon and selectively attached on an inlet of the first connecting part to prevent leakage so as to open and close the first connecting part. A valve plug(100) is placed on an end of the opening and closing part to close the opening and closing part. A valve plug ring(106) is placed on an inside of the valve plug to be attached to the opening and closing part so as to prevent leakage.
