The vehicle security system has a first coil (2) supplied with a control AC signal. A second coil (3) which is part of a key mounted circuit is coupled inductively to the first coil when the key is inserted into the ignition lock. The vehicle circuit has two diodes (13,14) in opposing polarities and linked to the processor (1) by capacitor shunts (15,16) and by series resistance (17,18). The signals connected to the processor are of a level which can be fed directly to the processor without reducing the amplitudes. This provides a direct control for the coded signals. |
