Disclosed is a nozzle bar on a device for generating liquid jets used for jet-interlacing the fibers of a fiber web that is guided along the strip. The inventive nozzle bar comprises a top part (1) extending along the working width of the fiber web and a bottom part (2) which is fixed thereto in a fluid-tight manner. A pressure chamber (4) is disposed in the top part (1), extending along the length thereof and receiving the pressurized liquid, e.g. via the face thereof. A pressure distribution chamber (5) is arranged parallel to said pressure chamber (4) behind an intermediate wall. Said two chambers (4, 5) communicate with each other via bore holes (9) which are arranged on the intermediate wall (8) and allow fluid to flow through said wall. A nozzle metal sheet provided with bore holes for receiving the nozzles is disposed on the bottom part (2) in a fluid-tight manner. A round impact body (20) is placed in the pressure distribution chamber (5) eccentric to the axis of the spherical pressure distribution chamber (5) in the direction of the bore holes (9) arranged on the intermediate wall (8) so as to steady the flow of liquid to the bore holes in the nozzle strip (14). |
