<p>The invention discloses the use of ethyl esters of polyunsaturated acids in the ω-3 series obtained from fish oil, and in particular eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) ethyl esters at high concentrations, alone or mixed, to prepare pharmaceutical compositions useful in reducing the risk of sudden death, in patients suffering from heart failure.</p> |
