The ground anchor comprises a corkscrew-type anchoring section (2) which has several windings (2') which follow each other in the longitudinal axis (L) of the anchoring section. The windings enclose an imaginary cylindrical space around the same longitudinal axis (L). The diameter of the cylindrical space is bigger than the cross-section of the material which forms the spiral.
