The cobblestone has a number of sections offset against each other, with a simulated joint between them, to give the visual impression from above of a number of cobblestones. The side surfaces have projecting ribs (4,5), which mate with two matching projecting ribs (20,21) in neighboring cobblestones. A smaller projecting rib (6) is between or near the ribs, to prevent a direct contact between the ribs or side surfaces of adjacent cobblestones.
