An electrical brake (1) for car doors of lifts and elevators of the type with one or more wings, is characterised in that it is so shaped as to be interposed between an operating panel (2) and a three-phase motor (3) to maintain the motor (3) electrically locked in correspondence with the opened or closed position assumed by the wings of the door.
