The blank (1) comprise a basic body (4) to be worked by a material-eroding tool in a working machine and two holders (8, 8') connected to the basic body for fastening the blank in the working machine. The holders are frustoconical and taper outward in relation to the basic body. The housing device of the working machine is adapted to the frustoconical shape and has a complementary shape. By this shaping of the working machine is guaranteed, as forces can be introduced via the casing surface of the frustoconical holders both in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the holders and perpendicular to it into the adjoining surfaces of the housing device.
