Stable compns. based on PVC plasticised with chlorine-contg. plasticisers contain, as stabiliser, (per 100 pbw PVC) 0.1-5 pbw of one or more tin salts and 0.1-5 pbw of one or more alkaline salts of unsatd. monocarboxylic acids and/or of one or more alkaline salts or opt. satd. dicarboxylic acids. The plasticiser is pref. an oligomer of allyl chloride or a chlorinated paraffin. The compns. have excellent transparency and heat stability.
