Each of the back legs is secured to a first tube (1) rotatable about a horizontal axis (2). A second rotary tube (3) located eccentrically inside the first tube pushes the legs towards the rear against a semicircular piece (5) mounted on the inside of the tube, when a force is applied manually via an actuator handle. The back legs can be adjusted in order to recline the seat and backrest.
