FIELD: astronautics, in particular, launch of the booster rockets into planned orbit. SUBSTANCE: after coarse aiming of the booster rocket on the start and completion of its vertical portion of flight the coordinates of the inclined portion, general line and the azimuth of the flight-path plane are determined, after that the position of the gyroscopic stabilizer is determined with the aid of the mentioned azimuth of the flight-path plane, and further flight of the booster rocket is corrected.
