FIELD: analytic chemistry; determining total (free and bound) hydrogen content in uranium dioxide fuel pellets. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen analyzer has electrode oven, gas flow selector switch, hydrogen afterburner, thermostat, coulometric transducer, and data processing unit. Thermostat is installed between hydrogen afterburner and coulometric transducer. Electrode oven has charge-discharge device and easy-to-remove evaporator. Charge-discharge device is made in the form of air-cooling chamber mounted above electrode-oven evaporator and provided with movable rod. Outputs of gas-flow selector switch are connected to air-cooling chamber and to hydrogen afterburner. EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy, improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
