Device and machine for broadcasting fertilizer or other similar granular products

The fertilizer spreading system comprises disks (1) fitted with a curved auxiliary blade (7) in advance of a conventional blade (5) for spreading fertilizer along the edges of fields. The flow of fertilizer on to the disks can be changed using a known system, e.g. as described in Distributeur d'engrais 12 - 36 metres/SULKY grand culture, Feb. 2001, so that it is directed either against the auxiliary or the standard blade. An Independent claim is included for a fertilizer spreader fitted with the system.
