METHOD FOR RESTORING FRICTION DISCS

FIELD: restoration and repairing procedures, namely restoring parts such as steel friction discs worn along working friction surfaces. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of plastic deforming of disc for imparting to it zigzag profile of cross section with shaped cross section of annular recesses and of dents in such a way that to provide dimension along dents of profile equal to nominal size of new disc; then filling annular shaped recesses with different friction materials. EFFECT: enhanced quality of restoring discs until standard size for making optimal friction pairs, improved wear- and warping resistance values of discs. 3 dwg
