<p>A safety container (10) specifically for transporting, storing, and dispensing metallo-organic substances, is sealingly closed by a lid (18) at the upper side, wherein the lid (18) has a closable feed port and two pipe line portions (52,54) are adapted to be selectively connected to the interior of the container (10) by means of a valve assembly. A valve block (30) is attached to the lid (18) via a bolted joint such that two openings of the valve block (30) are aligned and sealed with lid openings, and the valve block (30) has two valve members adapted to be actuated from outside via control means (66,70), which selectively connect one each of the pipe line portions (52,54), which are sealingly mounted on the valve block (30) to an associated lid opening. The feed port may be closed by a plug screw (28) and the valve block (30) may include means (68) for placing the pipe lines (52, 54) in direct communication.</p> |
