The throttle valve (1) includes a crudely adjustable throttle device (25) which can be moved stepwise between different throttle steps with different throttle cross-sections. A finely adjustable throttle device (26) which can be moved continuously between different throttle steps with different throttle cross-sections is connected in parallel with the crudely adjustable throttle device.
