FIELD: metallurgy; furnace charging machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed floor charging machine for melting furnaces has bridge with travel motion mechanism, driven trolley moving along bridge and carrying charging bar with swinging, rotation and pan closing mechanisms and operator's cabin. Charging bar, bar swinging and rotation mechanisms and pan closing mechanism and as well as operator's cabin are secured on turntable installed on trolley for turning. All wheels of trolley are driving ones. Trolley travel motion drive is made in form of reduction gears whose driven shafts carry pair of running wheels installed in [-- shaped guides of bridge. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, improved reliability in operation. 6 dwg
