FIELD: microbiology; applicable in determination of adsorption of pathogenic microorganisms by various soils. SUBSTANCE: method includes taking of soil samples by sampler closed from both ends by plugs, sterilization and installation of sampler into rack; filtering of test-microbe suspension through soil; determination of adsorption capacity. Device for method embodiment has cylinder with removable clamp and handle on upper end. Cylinder upper and lower ends are additionally provided with removable plugs for preservation of structure of taken sample and its subsequent sterilization. Invention provides for determination of microorganism adsorption by soil core samples without disturbance of their structure representing natural processes occurring in soil.
