Shut-off valve for a tank

The tank has a filler tube (1) with valve seat (3,5) on intake side and tank side, and a valve body (11) with seal (15). The valve body is pre-tensioned in direction of the intake-sided valve seat, to seal the filler tube against that seat when in filling position. The pretension of the valve body is overcome by the flow pressure of the intake medium in direction of the tank-sided valve seat. A filling level-controlled shut-off unit (20) halts the movement of the valve body in a position, in which the seal is held at a distance to the valve seats by the medium flowing around it. The stop effect of the unit is neutralized when a seat fluid level in the tank has been reached.
