PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gel-like composition having pearl feeling, furnished with favorable touch and stability, including a carboxyvinyl polymer and/or an acrylic/methacrylic 10-30C alkyl copolymer. SOLUTION: This gel-like composition comprises (1) the carboxyvinyl polymer and/or the acrylic/methacrylic 10-30C alkyl copolymer and (2) a fatty acid. At least a part of the fatty acid is in the form of fine flakes, and owing to this fact, this composition shows pearl feeling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
