PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any difference between the cushioning performance in the width direction of first extension pieces and the cushioning performance in the width direction of second extension pieces in a corner cushion material having the first extension pieces and the second extension pieces which are formed by successively laminating substantially L-shaped corrugated fiberboard and substantially L-shaped cardboard, and an article packing structure having the corner cushion material. SOLUTION: In the corner cushion materials 100, 100', 200 and 200', the corrugation stripe direction of corrugated paper in the corrugated fiberboard forming L-shaped cushioning parts 151 and 151' is inclined by substantially 45°from the extension direction of the first extension pieces 153 and 153'.
