PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating efficiency of a whole molding work without increasing the number of cassettes when different kinds of products are manufactured in a individual small lots by simplifying an operation to replace an insert. SOLUTION: This cassette mold for molding is of such a structure that during replacing an insert, either of cassette assemblies 12 and 14, each one of which is fitted to the fixed half side and the movable half side of a mold, is removed from a common sliding shaft 16 and fixed bars 30 and 48 fastened to their respective butting faces by screws have only to be removed, and further, that the head 56A of an ejector pin 56 is exposed by removing a press plate 62 from the back side of the cassette assembly 14 on the movable half side and pulled out of an ejector pin retaining plate 54. After that, the ejector pin 56 and/or the ejector pin retaining plate 54 are replaced, and again the press plate 62 is fixed by screws 68, thus to complete the replacement work. Consequently, it is possible to replace the cassette assemblies 12 and 14 of the fixed half side and the movable half side, even when both cassette assemblies 12 and 14 remain attached to the common sliding shaft 16.
