PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent outer appearance in a drum type washing machine with an operation panel arranged on the upper surface. SOLUTION: An operation panel member 110, a cover member 120, and a back plate member 130 are arranged in order in a depth direction from this side. The operation panel member 110 and the cover member 120 are respectively prevented from coming off upward by engagement with a top plate member 100 when moved forward by sliding. The cover member 120 prevents the operation panel member 110 from being moved backward, the back plate member 130 prevents the cover member 120 from being moved backward, and the backmost part of the back plate member 130 is fixed to the top plate member 100 with a screw. An overlap part is provided in an abutment part in each of the operation panel member 110, the cover member 120, and the back plate member 130. When fixing is performed with the screw, the head part of the screw is hidden under the overlap part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
