PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient floating driver capable of accurately and easily positioning a pile. SOLUTION: The floating driver is constituted of a deck 3, a plurality of legs 4 vertically piercing the deck 3, a lifter 5 installed on the deck. The floating driver using a jack-up platform features in that a plurality of insertable through holes 6 through which a pile 12 can be put are positioned in specified positions of the deck 3 of the jack-up platform transferably installed on the water bottom 1. A guide frame in which small diametral guide holes are bored is placed on the deck in the condition that the pierced holes and the guide holes are set to substantially coincide with each other. The guide frame may be moved through a horizontal shift means to enable fine adjustment of the guide hole when piling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
