TOP-BLOWING LANCE AND CONVERTER OPERATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-blowing lance which can melt an unprocessed metal on all the range of furnace wall of a converter and can prevent the adhesion of the unprocessed metal by causing the soft blowing of an oxidative gas jetted from the top-blowing lance thereby to improve the secondary combustion rate of the oxidative gas and by changing the jetting direction of the gas without using a mechanical means such as changing the inclination of a lance chip; and a method for operating a converter by using the top-blowing lance. SOLUTION: The jetting direction of an oxidative gas jetted from at least one gas jetting nozzle by using a top-blowing lance having at least two gas jetting nozzles is displaced in the direction crossing a straight line connecting the center point of a jetting hole and the center point of the cross section of the lance.
