PURPOSE: A device for taking the right position of a valve body is provided to improve productivity by automatically taking the position of the valve body supplied to a machine tool. CONSTITUTION: A valve body(10) is placed on a position jig(12) by a robot device(11). A couple of auxiliary rollers(14) are installed at one end of the position jig. A driving roller assembly is opposite to the auxiliary rollers. A driving motor(40) transmits driving force to the driving roller assembly by a timing belt(41). An actuator(30) moves the driving roller assembly, and controls the driving force transmitted to the driving roller assembly. A sensor(50) is installed at the lower part of the position jig, and detects the position of a dowel pin groove in the valve body.
