PURPOSE: A system for calculating a menu price using an IC chip is provided to efficiently settle the food price on a time zone gathering a lot of persons by installing the IC inputting a food name and the price on a bottom of a food vessel. CONSTITUTION: The IC chip storing the food name and the price is installed to the bottom of each food vessel. Non-contact sensors(s) are arranged on a counter. If a tray containing the food vessel puts on the counter, the information of each IC chip is read by the non-contact sensors(s). A microprocessor of the counter calculates the food price contained in the tray, and the food name and the price are displayed on a display(d).
