PURPOSE: A heater is provided to increase a caloric power by re-burning the unburnt fuel in the combustion chamber, while allowing for a comfort heating by removing an offensive odor from the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A heater comprises a ceramic substrate(3) having a plurality of passages, which is mounted in a combustion chamber(2) where a combustion is performed by a burner(1) and an emission of combustion gas is performed; and a ceramic catalyst filter(4) having a plurality of passages spaced apart from each other, which is arranged above the ceramic substrate in such a manner that the ceramic catalyst filter removes an offensive odor from the exhaust gas.
