PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing time as a whole by automatically switching a series of procedures from reading of an image of a manuscript to processing for plate-making in accordance with a printing mode and existence of after- processing after printing. SOLUTION: In accordance with specification on the printing mode and specification on the existence of after-processing after printing by a user using an operational panel 4, a control device 30 determines a processing procedure which makes a total processing time shortest. Then, according to this determined processing procedure, the reading of the image of the manuscript by a manuscript reversing-type image reading device 3 and the processing for plate-making in the first plate-making and printing part 10 and the second plate-making and printing part 20 are performed.
