PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container in which bearings being fitted with a lead screw can be secured rigidly and surely through a minimum machining process without using any adhesive, and smooth movement of the liquid storage container and accurate recording operation at the time of employing it in a recorder can be ensured through an inexpensive and small arrangement. SOLUTION: In the liquid storage container 50 comprising a through hole 22 for passing a lead screw 19, bearings 11 being secured to the opposite end parts of the through hole in order to bear the lead screw, and a screw pin 16 engaging slidably with the lead screw and reciprocating through rotation of the lead screw, the bearings 11 are heated after being fitted in the through hole 22 which is thereby fused and then the through hole is hardened thus bonding the bearings to the through hole.
