PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying mat for a pressed flower, or the like, with which occurrence of folds is effective prevented even if the moisture of a flowering plant to be made into a pressed flower is absorbed or dried and oxidation of the flowering plant and change in color by oxidation are controlled. SOLUTION: This drying mat for the pressed flower, or the like, is constituted of a plurality of drying mat paper sheets formed by using short fibers so as not to produce long grain and short grain and a desiccating agent applied or impregnated to the drying mat paper sheets so as to have a preset pH 5.8 to≥7.
