PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank with which a resonance frequency of the tank storing a liquid can be controlled over a wide range without increasing the weight of a structure constituting the storage tank. SOLUTION: The storage tank includes at least one pair of opposite wall plates 11 in contact with the liquid 1, a vertically separating plate 14 provided at a position lower than a liquid level when the tank is full for partitioning an internal space of the tank into an upper section and a lower section, and a vertically communicating means 16 for causing the upper section to communicate with the lower section.
