PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus made of only a corrugated board using no so-called foamed styrene and giving sufficient packaging strength. SOLUTION: In the packaging apparatus of a panel of an air cinditioner equipped with an air conditioner body hung from a ceiling and the panel attached to the surface on the room side of the air conditioner body, the packaging apparatus has a bottom face material 11 made of a corrugated board covering the reverse surface of the panel 9, a surface material 13 covering the surface of the panel 9 and a pair of packaging pads 21 made of the corrugated board covering the edge surface of the shorter side of the panel 9 wherein when a plurality of the packaged panel 9 are stacked on each other, the packaging pad 21 receives the load in the compressive direction and keeps the dropping strength.
