METHOD FOR ADJUSTING SPECIFIC GRAVITY OF SLIP AND FOAM QUANTITY CONTROL METHOD IN GYPSUM BOARD MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the use amount of foam and to supply a different stable slips large in specific gravity difference to a gypsum board manufacturing line by simple adjustment using an independent mixer. SOLUTION: A kneading material and kneading water are supplied to the central region of a mixing stirrer and moved on a rotary disc outwardly in a radial direction by centrifugal action while mixed under stirring. Gypsum slip is fed out to the outside from the outer peripheral region in the mixing stirrer through a feed-out port and a feed-out pipe. A predetermined amount of foam for adjusting the slip is supplied to the outer peripheral region and the feed-out port or the feed-out pipe and uniformly mixed with the slip not only to suppress defoaming but also to adjust the specific gravity of the slip.
