PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new medicine having chymase-inhibiting action, or the like. SOLUTION: This medicine is composed of a new pyrrolidine derivative expressed by formula (I) or its physiologically permissible acid addition salt (R<SP>1</SP>is a heterocyclic group such as cycloalykyl, naphthyl and thienyl, or the like; R<SP>2</SP>is an alkyl, or the like; R<SP>3</SP>is (i) a substituted or unsubstituted unsaturated monocyclic heterocyclic group, (ii) a substituted or unsubstituted saturated or unsaturated monocyclic heterocyclic group condensed to benzene ring or pyridine ring or (iii) a group expressed by formula (a) (A is a lower alkylene; D<SP>1</SP>and D<SP>2</SP>are each a (substituted) methylene group, or one of D<SP>1</SP>and D<SP>2</SP>is a (substituted) methylene group and the other is a (substituted) vinylene group; R<SP>4</SP>is a lower alkyl substituted with carboxy group, or the like; and (n) is 0, 1, 2 or 3).
