PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route searching device and route searching method preventing wasteful waiting time when a user searches a route. SOLUTION: The route searching device is provided with a condition inputting means 15a for inputting search conditions which are a place P1 of departure, a destination Pn and an estimate time of departure, a route searching means 15b for determining points P2 to P(n-1) at the time of moving from the place P1 of departure to the destination Pn and determining means f(i, i+1) of transportation of adjacent points from i=1 to i=n-1, a repetitive route searching means 15c for determining means f(i, i+1) of transportation of the adjacent points from the place P1 of departure to the destination Pn from i=n-1 to i=1 with respect to each point at the time of moving from the place P1 of departure to the destination Pn, and a result outputting means 15d for outputting the means f(i, i+1) of transportation with respect to each natural number from i=1 to i=n-1 acquired by the repetitive route searching means 15c.
