PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car with a platform device for a wheelchair not requiring an extra space on the outside of the car by assuring a platform space for users in the area of the interior, not limiting a getting on and off place since getting on and off can be easily performed even in a restricted place, coping with such weather conditions as rain, snow, and strong wind, and providing a high safety. SOLUTION: This car comprises an openable opening part 11 at the rear part of a vehicle body and two side frames spaced parallel with each other installed along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A platform device for wheelchair 10 is positioned near the rear gate of the car from which a cabin floor 15 is removed. Usually the height of a floor 13 for getting on and off of the platform device 10 for wheelchair is the same as that of the cabin floor. The floor 13 for getting on and off of the platform device 10 for wheelchair is installed between the side frames at the rear part of the vehicle body so as to face the opening part 11. The floor 13 for getting on and off is liftable by a lifter 14. A partition wall is installed between the floor 13 for getting on and off and the cabin floor 15 of the vehicle body so as to lift together with the floor 13 for getting on and off.
