PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor and time for deciding the motor stop condition in a fastener provided with an automatic stop function for automatically stopping a motor when the preset stop condition is formed. SOLUTION: In this fastener, the motor 30 is rotated when a trigger switch is driven (S30). When the motor 30 is rotated to fasten a bolt and a collision of a hammer with an anvil is detected (YES in S32), a driving time measuring timer T<SB>set</SB>starts (S36).
