<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which uses paper as a support, has at least a recording layer using the coloring reaction between an electron donating coloring compound and an electron accepting compound and a substrate, and is free from color nonuniformity on the back and residual elimination during printing/elimination. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium comprises at least the recording layer using the coloring reaction between the electron donating coloring compound and the electron accepting compound and the support. The paper support provided with coated paper 45 g/m<SP>2</SP>or below in water absorbency by a water absorbency testing method (cup method) for paper of JIS P 8140 and cardboard or an under layer is used as the support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
