PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for vulcanizing a tire, capable of easily performing the setting of a temperature at the time of vulcanization and the temperature control of respective regions and capable of shortening the vulcanizing time of the tire. SOLUTION: An electric heater 9 is arranged around a lower mold 8 and split type sector molds 10 radially expanded and contracted to move toward a bladder center mechanism 7 are arranged. A heat insulating material 19 is interposed between each of the sector molds and a lower side plate 3a. The heat insulating material 19 to be used is obtained by forming a heat-resistant composite material comprising a heat-resistant organic material and glass fibers into a sheetlike shape. An upper mold 25 equipped with electric heaters 9 such as a rod heaters or the like through an upper side plate 24 is attached to the undersurface of a support plate 23 in a liftable manner and a heat insulating material 19a is arranged on the upper surface of the upper side plate 24.
